Release notes for ANZMet Lite version 1.04.
===========================================

This release version 1.04 is based modificaions to version 1.01.

Enhancements
------------

* Coordinate reference system metadata

The master coordinate reference system list anzlic-gmxCrs.xml has been
updated to the cut down copy of version 1.1 dated 2011-03-03
downloaded from http://asdd.ga.gov.au/asdd/profileinfo/.

The updated anzlic-gmxCrs.xml has changed the identifiers of the
coordinate reference systems (CRS) from the form "4326" to the form
"EPSG::4326".

If you open metadata with reference system data in the form "4326"
(e.g., created with previous versions of ANZMet Lite) for editing, a
message box appears explaining that the format of the CRS metadata has
changed. You have the option of cancelling the edit. However, if you
subsequently select "Finish", the CRS entry in the metadata will be
updated to the new form "EPSG::4326".

The explorer's formatted view works correctly with CRS metadata in the
new format "EPSG::4326", but not the old format "4326". So in order
to see CRS metadata correctly in the formatted view, open the metadata
file for editing and then save it by selecting "Finish". Then the
formatted view will be correct.

* Vertical information

The same principle applies to any "Vertical information" metadata,
which contains reference to a vertical CRS, where that CRS has
had "EPSG::" prepended in the new anzlic-gmxCrs.xml. (In practice,
that means Australia-specific CRS codes.)

When opening metadata that contains both "Reference system" and
"Vertical information" metadata in the old format, you will see two
message boxes, one for each type of metadata.

Note:
(1) there may be some remaining inconsistencies, in particular,
in the generated "VerticalCS" elements.
(2) For version 1.03 users this is the same change implemented in
version 1.03.

* Installer

As Microsoft has changed the User Access Control mechnism in all
Windows versions from Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, the file
change operations in ANZLMet Lite will not work if the application is
installed in restricted folders, such as "C:\Program Files",
"C:\Program Files (x86)" and "C:\Windows".

The default installation location has been changed to a
non-restricted folder, and a Read Me warning message has been added in
the installtion process.

* Version number in window headers

The application's version number has been updated to 1.04, as shown on
the splash screen. The window headers of the explorer and editor
windows now also display this same version number correctly 1.04. (In
all previous versions of ANZMet Lite the window header always showed
version number "1.0".)

* Codelist Update screen

The Codelist Update screen did not display properly, if the custom
text size or DPI (Dots Per Inch) was set to 125% (Medium). Now it has
been fixed to support all DPI settings.
